It defeats the purpose of the shining where jack goes mad due to the evil nature of the hotel. I'm extremely dissecting and upset in this film, it's nothing like the shining, steering down some strange road. If you love the shining and admire it for how special of a film and story it is, then don't take dr strange to heart, it's TRASH.
